Thank you for looking at my paintings, I'm a woman, who lives in The Netherlands,  near the town Nijmegen., I paint in different styles with several materials. I like to change my subjects.
I prefer to use warm colors and I also like to hear music when I'm painting. I might be inspired by flowers, landscapes but also by pictures in the newspaper or by people that I'm watching. Sometimes I make watercolors and they look very different from the oil or acrylic paintings.
I do not specifically aim to convey a message but I obviously feel delighted when people enjoy or are fascinated in some way by my paintings. I aim to create a balance between composition and color. My mood obviously influences the creative process; music too can do this also.

When I was a student my father did not allow me to go to art academy, he wanted us to have a job as a teacher because one would be safe and easy find a position. I didn't want that and I choosed to make a kind of combination with art study in direction I liked to do for several years.

In the past i tried to make a living with a job and making paintings,  for a period i gave lessons to people who wanted to learn making watercolors.

At the moment I am trying presenting my art work here, I kept a lot of the paintings that I made somewhere in a place for a long time, i did not present them often.

Over the years I had some exhibitions and I have to look where I kept that information.
