Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. Marcelino kent vele unieke belevenissen in zijn leven die hij graag met mensen deelt. Eigenlijk heeft zijn gevoel voor creativiteit hem via diverse wegen geleid naar het punt waar hij nu is beland,
zijn Art collectie. Met een enorme passie voor schrijven, koken en schilderen werd die ultieme jongensdroom werkelijkheid. Altijd weer geloven in iets dat je wilt bereiken en dat dit ook daadwerkelijk vorm krijgt !
Jos Brink nodigde hem destijds uit op zijn bekende TV Show ‘op de bank bij Jos’, hetgeen de inleiding was naar Marcelino's eerste eigen TV programma Trendies (RTL4). Daarna volgden er nog meer en... het werd zoals ook Jos aankondigde, één groot succes.
Wat hebben o.a. Fernando Botero, Walasse Ting, Kees Verkade, Richard Branson, Tenzin Gyatso (Dalai Lama), Arnold Scharzenegger, Cindy Crawford, Bill Gates, Sharon Stone en Philippe Starck met elkaar gemeen. Antwoord : Zij schudden allen de hand van Marcelino, hetgeen meestal resulteerde in boeiende en leerzame gesprekken. Hierbij inspireerden zij hem om zijn uiteindelijke doel te bereiken. Met regelmaat heeft Marcelino nog contact met een aantal van deze bijzondere mensen die hem bevestigen dat welhaast niets onmogelijk is. En het is voor Marcelino een enorme eer, te horen en te zien dat ook zij nog steeds genieten van zijn kleurrijke werken.
Marcelino bezocht tijdens en na het vervaardigen van zijn Magazines en TV programma's, diverse galerieën en kunst opleidingen w.o. :
The International Academy of Culture & Art in Lugano (CH), waarna hij gastdocent was bij TASIS The American School In Switzerland (Lugano).
Vervolgens reisde hij naar Bangkok en volgde een cursus aan de Pohchang Academy of Arts. Na drie jaar intensief te hebben geschilderd in Phuket, kwam hij terug uit Thailand.
Hij verhuisde naar Frankrijk en woonde ruim een jaar in Parijs, waar hij lessen volgde aan de Academy Des Beaux-Arts.
Marcelino opende in 2007 zijn galerie in Parijs aan de Place des Vosges.
Marcelino's basisstijl is het Pointillisme.
De Pointillisten bestuderen de optische werking van de kleuren.
Ze experimenteren hiermee door het maken van schilderijen waarop de kleuren niet meer op het doek worden gemengd maar waarop de zuivere kleuren in kleine puntjes naast elkaar worden gegroepeerd. Op deze manier worden de kleuren niet in werkelijkheid gemengd.
Het oog mengt deze gegroepeerde kleuren echter wel !
Er wordt lang aan een schilderij gewerkt en Pointillistische schilderijen blinken uit door de zeer heldere, lichtgevende, indruk die ze maken.
Door het speciale UV licht ontstaat een lichtshow zoals deze nog nooit is vertoond. Overdag en vooral 's avonds, aanschouw je een waar spektakel. Dit maakt een mens door en door vrolijk en blij waardoor je uiterst positieve gevoelens meeneemt in je leven.
En dat is precies wat Marcelino wil bereiken !
