I've crafted a collection of diptychs titled ‘Blink’
In the series, I've curated a set of diptychs capturing the ephemeral essence of perceiving landscapes and still lifes. Utilizing swift sequences reminiscent of the mind's eye, I've employed digital manipulation, weaving linear elements to introduce motion into typically static landscapes. The colors have been digitally heightened, enveloping the viewer in a hyperreal encounter that establishes a dichotomy mirroring our observation of still life within dynamic motion.
In "Blink," Gladwell explores the concept of rapid cognition and intuition, examining how people make quick decisions and judgments. The premise involves the idea that our subconscious mind can sometimes make remarkably accurate assessments in the blink of an eye. Gladwell delves into various examples to support this perspective.
