Mahir Rahimov

Mahir Mobiloglu Rahimov is a contemporary Azerbaijani artist known for his commitment to realism and his ability to capture the nuances of life through his art. Born in 1985 in Baku, Rahimov's passion for observation and creativity emerged early in his life. This inclination led him to enroll in the A. Azimzade Art School in 2001. He further honed his craft at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts, where he pursued a degree in painting, graduating with a master's in 2013.

A member of the Azerbaijan Union of Artists, Rahimov has established himself as a skilled realist artist whose works reflect his deep engagement with nature, human behavior, and the world around him. His dedication to his craft has earned him a place in numerous museums and private collections across Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, China, France, Monaco, Germany, England, Scotland, the USA, Canada, Uruguay, and other countries.

Rahimov views art as an evolving journey. While grounded in realism, he remains open to new directions, stating, "I work the way I like and the way I think is right. Today I am a 'Realist Artist.' Tomorrow, what, where, and how I will paint, only God knows."
