Marianna lives and works in Samara. She graduated from art school as a child. Then she studied and worked in non-art fields for a long time. She came to painting in 2017 after a car accident in which she miraculously survived. Studied painting and art history online and offline, took private lessons from artists. Tried different themes and techniques, experimented, looked for my own style. Has experience in conducting personal exhibitions.

"I am a symbolist artist.

I like to use hidden messages, allegories and metaphors in my paintings. But I take the plots themselves from my life and often depict what surrounds me. I am not looking for the deeper meaning in fantasies and dreams, I am interested in life here and now. I love writing my daughter. Through her image, it is easier for me to convey to the viewer my feelings, emotions, thoughts, everything that I write about.

I love experiments.

Sometimes I combine figurative and abstract painting.

I paint in oil, but I use different techniques. For example, I combine lessirovki with textures and even graphic elements in one work. And the art materials, as it were, become a continuation of the idea that I put into the canvas.

But, despite the multi-layered painting, it is important for me to keep it light, understated.

I would like the viewer to be able to communicate with my works and for this I leave space for their interaction. Maybe even in his thoughts, he will finish drawing some elements and thereby learn new things about himself or discover in the world."
