Biography
machOne is a contemporary British graffiti artist and custom graphic designer, whose unique style is deeply rooted in the graffiti culture that has influenced his work since the 1980s. With spray paint as his weapon of choice, he incorporates signature elements such as paint drips, splatter, soft fades, and bold color choices, all while drawing inspiration from clean pop art and comic art, particularly from Marvel, DC, and artist Milo Manara.
His journey into art began with drawing comic book heroes like Spider-Man, Batman, and Hulk for friends. The explosion of hip-hop culture, graffiti crews, and street culture further fueled his passion, leading him to use train yards, subways, and abandoned places as his canvas. This immersion in street culture also paved the way for his involvement in custom car graphics for street racers, murals, and television appearances.
Over the years, machOne's career expanded into commercial graphics, where he honed his skills working with major brands and high-quality digital printing. His experience collaborating with substrate manufacturers and working on projects like Mission Impossible, James Bond, and the Olympic Games has taught him the importance of quality, scale, and professionalism.
Today, machOne's artwork is exhibited internationally, from the UK to the USA, Japan, Spain, Germany, Finland, and France, with his pieces adorning spaces ranging from subway walls to five-star hotels. With graffiti always at the core of his style, machOne continues to push boundaries, merging his street art roots with his commercial graphic design expertise to create dynamic and impactful works of art.
