Biography
machOne is a contemporary British graffiti artist and custom graphic designer. At home on a subway wall or designing for British SuperBikes teams, skateboards, helmets or on canvas, machOne believes art should be emotive, cause a reaction, thought or conversation. Being heavily influenced by American comic books, combining that with years of graffiti art, painting both illegally and commissioned and in addition to a career in commercial graphics, digital print and graphics installation, machOne draws on a large range of experiences for his artwork and approaches each as a commercial project or installation.
machOne is well known for his surrealist graffiti figures, but has also become a master in the art of lettering. He makes aerosol paintings that blend different stroke and perspective approaches, going beyond traditional values. The frequently brilliant colors depict an universe that is both imaginative and absurd, with unique combinations of letters and characters.
