A self- taught painter who grew up in an artistic environment, grandfather being a professional artist. Ran a dance school for 30 years..

 Whether working oil, acrylic watercolour, whatever subject is always drenched in colour and imbued with sensitivity, and passion

Maria works at creating the spontaneity of the moment giving depth and emotion to her paintings.

One is never indifferent when viewing her art. Her work is filled with movement as she ran a dance school for 30 years so is greatly influenced by the human form of which she does a lot of excellent nudes in ink and watercolour also. She has exhibited a lot of watercolours, sold many , and now  is working more in oils and acrylic painting but using watercolours  as a support system.
