In this abstract work “Turquoise Gold” I used mixed techniques, material, base color turquoise, black and real gold leaf.
Turquoise is the color of the abyss, of the unconscious: the place that gives rise to life and belongs to the myth of Atlantis. Black is our darkest part. Gold represents light, strength, heat.
Darkness is strong, preponderant but gold, light, far exceeds black and becomes the main color.
