Still life (2020) Картина - Aluizio Loureiro

Aluizio Loureiro was born on March 6, 1951 in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. He immigrated to Portugal in December 1988. Portuguese by naturalization. He graduated in Medicine in 1977, He currently works at the Private Hospital of Chaves.

He joined the Sociedade Brasileira de Belas Artes in 1973, having taken a course in artistic drawing. He had orientation in drawing and oil painting, with the teacher Maria Celeste P. Oliveira (Marcel).

In 1987 and 1988, still in Brazil, he was guided by Professor Arminio Pascual in the study of landscapes.

Since 2018, he has been guided by Professor Carlos Ranna. (Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil.)

With him, he carried out studies of portraits, deepened his knowledge in color theory, drawing techniques, composition, perspective and field work where new frontiers were opened for the art of painting.

In December 2021, he is under the guidance of Professor Gilberto Geraldo, drawing and painting instructor at the Princeton Academy of Arts, NJ, USA and prepares students for access to the Ilia Repin Academy of Arts - São Petersburg, Russia where he currently lives.

Up to the present date, he maintains guidelines with both professor
