This sculpture is made of cypresswood (upper head) and walnuttreewood. The cypresswood has a natural perfume who lasts a long time. We lived for 2 years in Tuscany then in Haute Provence, Bretagne, Herault, Centre/France, Aveyron and now in the departement of Creuse." Just about wooden sculptures : do not put them on a place where the sun can shine directly on them, nor place them near a heating point . This could create cracks ! If it happens, keep them in a cool place for a while, humidity in the air will close them back. Wood is an alive material !
