Biyografi
Carina is a versatile artist with a great experimental desire. She paints, sculpts, writes poetry and likes to put her various art forms together. In 2021, she published a book with her paintings combined with haiku poems "Lyckoflingor och bitterhetsfrön".
Carina's art conveys joy, imagination, and humour, but there is also a touch of sadness, as for example in her childhood stories that she painted during a period. A series of them, three paintings together with music, were shown as an installation at Liljevalch's Spring Salon in 2011.
Carina is self-taught but has participated in many shorter and longer painting courses over the years. For some years she lived in France. There she painted with artists from different countries in the art association "Le Hangar Centers des Arts".
Carina started painting as an adult, but she soon developed a style with her own clear voice in both painting and sculpture.
"Life consists of both sadness and joy" says Carina. I want to convey that with my art.

Exhibition in Danderyd with 30 artists - opening 22 September 2013
Around 30 artists in Danderyds Konsthall will exhibit at the expo titled "Det goda livet" (The good life) at Församlingshemmet, Danderyds Församling. Welcome to the opening 22 September 15.00 - 19.00. The expo will be open until 4th November. I am participating with Amygdala - a large painting in blue and beige. A part of the proceeds will go to Danderyds Församling.

In connection to the event "Danderyds Kulturbiennal 2013, there will be an exhibition where the artists/members in the community "Danderyds Konsthall" will open up their galleries or studios and show their art. 64 artists will show their art. In connection to this, there will also be a common exhibition. This event is to compare with "Konstrundan på Österlen".

14 artists within the Swedish Club in Malta are donating around 50 pieces of art that will be shown at an exhibition in the Chamber of Commerce in Valletta. The exhibition opens Thursday evening (for invited guests) the 19th of April and are open (working days) until the 26th of April 9-17.
There are a number of companies and associations that do support the event and thanks to them, it will be possible to cover administrations costs. Read about Carpe Diems partners here. Our aim is to donate all the proceeds to the Puttinu Cares Foundation in Malta, an organisation giving support to families with a children with cancer.

Briefly about Carina
* I mainly paint with acrylic on canvas.
* Figurative motifs but also abstract paintings.
* I have been painting in nearly 15 years
* I was represented at Liljevalchs Vårsalong 2011 with an installation named "Nostalgia" consisting of three paintings and music.
* I have lived in France for some years and I am a member of the Le Hangar Centre des Arts.
* I have have also lived in Malta (2009 - 2012) where I learned more about painting together with some very skilled artists.
* Arranged Carpe Diem Art Show, a charity exhibition in Valletta 2012 for members in the Swedish Club where 15 artists were exhibited.
* Education; a number of courses and classes in France and in Malta. Summer classes in Sweden at Gerlesborgsskolan, Stockholm.
* Member of the Swedish Association "Danderyds Konsthall".
* Member of Les Hangar Centre des Arts, www.hangarart.org.
* Member of BUS (Bildkonst Upphovsrätt i Sverige)
* As one of 63 artists, I opened my studio for visitors in September 2013 "Konstrundan" - an event arranged by Danderyds Konsthall.
