.Laurent's paintings, whose meticulous creation requires time and patience, are contemporary « mille-fleurs », and were presented for the first time in a personal exhibition in 2017 in Brussels.

.His works are the result of a unique combination of three bases of pictorial Art, from Laurent’s three regions of origin : the Mille-fleurs from Western France, the Polynesian Tatoo as a way to cover his paintings with floral patterns, and Eastern Asia’s Sumi-E to put narrative elements.

.Through the different themes chosen for his series of artworks, Laurent tries to convey the sensations experienced by people with Sensory Processing Sensitivity : the uninterrupted onslaught of informations and details that saturate the mind. Working with delicate but complex colour contrasts, he seeks to show the importance that some harmless elements can have, the impossible exit from this mental blur and a representation of the ways found to balance oneself facing this pressure.
