Failure and Fêlures: I find it meaningful that these two words one French, one English sound almost homonymic when the later could qualify as the consequence of the former.
I just wanted to picture the lasting effects of adult’s failure on related children. How it could affect forever their lives from childhood and ongoing. The resulting fêlures could be small , disrupted or buried. Staying undiscovered , denied or in the contrary acknowledged and addressed. Unconsciously ignored or voluntarily hidden. They might be undetectable at first sight but they are definitively there and can be observed when changing the perspective.
It is just a stillness where everything around is moving, a sudden unexpected empti-ness, an unjustified overreaction. an overwhelmed response. A recreated memory, an overworked imagination, an hypersensitivity. It’s feeling a difference, a temporary void, a desire for something that has never been. From adult failure to children fêlures.

Biography
I guess I have never been divorced from the art. I have always had the impulse to funnel my emotions and my environment through a visual interpretation of some sort.
From a young age, more as a spectator than an actor, I found myself studying body language, movements in people‘s face and human interactions. Then, in recent years, I moved on to my natural surroundings : from the very small journey of a rain drop, to the somewhat overwhelming ramifications of family impetus.
What surrounds me is a source of personal nourishment and inspires empirical artistic expressions.
