Lana Laura Turmanidze was born in Georgia. After the school education she studied 4 years at the art school in Batumi / Georgia and acquired her certificate in the fields Graphic arts, Painting and Educational theory. In the internationally approved state academy of arts A.Kutateladze in Tbilisi she studied 6 years of painting and sculpture.
Lana Turmanidze is several times an excellent member of the Georgian artist's association. She is many times participant of international art exhibitions and festivals. Many of her pictures and sculptures are in Georgia, Germany, Russia, Israel, France, the USA and Switzerland in private and state collections.
