From an early age I was interested in producing pieces that were as detailed and as accurate as possible, almost photographic images. I'm a big fan of the work done by Ralph McQuarrie (Concept Visualation Artist) His paintings captured my attention and I wanted to paint like him. To be honest I lacked the patience for this as I grew older. I had less time for my art between my work and social life. I dont know how I arrived at my current style but I know I like it. I believe in everyone being artistic. A painting or drawing does not have to be detailed or "conventionaly" good, as all images are unique. It is the persons perseption of what they see, whether it be a bowl of fruit or a few lines with a deeper philosophy. Art is about individual taste not about bad and good. The majority of images done in my youth directly relate to the Star Wars movies as I was big fan during the 90's. Now however I have a more varied subject matter with each image telling of a particular event, experience or thought.
