Génèse de la Peinture
Née de grands parents espagnols, viticulteurs et maraîchers, en 1961 en Algérie, j’ai passé mon enfance à Gigean dans l’Hérault, dans la menuiserie paternelle, au bord de la 113 qui file vers Mèze et l’étang de Thau.
Afin de participer aux ateliers de modèle vivant aux Beaux Arts de Sète en auditrice libre, j’ai appris avant l'âge, à conduire une motobécane orange, sans casque. Eblouie, j’ai sillonné la Gardiole et les collines de La Moure, (où l’on trouvait un lampeau d’essence par village), et appris par cœur les courbes du Haut Languedoc. Je les évoque dans ma peinture, dans le déchirement du ciel qui laisse voir la toile libre en arrière plan des Maisons Jaunes.
