The initial task was to produce a work relative to Vivaldi's music 'The Four Seasons' for a group exhibition. An added influence to my work has been Kandinsky's achievements of painting with colour to music. The initial task was to produce a work relative to Vivaldi's music 'The Four Seasons' for a group exhibition. An added influence to my work has been Kandinsky's achievements of painting with colour to music.
The work is a summation of my various artistic 'seasons': it makes references to many of my past creative artwork experiences, via the application of my own art collage pieces; all within a rhythmically drawn composition using black ink, applied with a dagger liner brush, in flowing linear gestural movements while listening/responding to Vivaldi's music.
