Drawing is something all children do freely and without hesitation. Ask a group of children "who here is an artist" and every hand will enthusiastically be raised. Ask the same group 20 years later and maybe one hand is in the air. What makes us hesitate? Part of art is teaching others that with a few skills, they can be on their way, on their journey back to the fearless kid who wants to draw all the time. And here I am. home again, with my box of crayons and pad of paper, filled with joy.
