The river girl Angara (2019) Pintura por Katerina Sevostyanova

Nature is amasing. It gives us energy and helps to relax. This painting is about Sebirian legend about lake Baikal and river Angara. Baikal has a lot of sons and only one daughter Angara. She falled in love in Yenisei and disided to run for him. According to this legend, the Shaman-stone, which is located in the middle of the source of the Angara near the village of Listvyanka, was thrown by father Baikal to stop his disobedient daughter. But the river Angara met with Yenisei and they become happy for long-long time.
Sebiria is the place of deeply powerfull nature energy in countryside and interesting unique culture. My heart full of love with nature, our planet, no matter there i am. And I want to share this feeling with you by my paintings.
This is original watercolour painting.
The size of paper sheet is 19 x 28,3 cm. The picture size is a little smaller because of white boards. The image size is 17 x 26,2 cm.
I made this painting on quallity acid free paper.
