Karsten Stier - specialising in Figurative, Social Commentary and Semi Abstract paintings. I have been painting for over 50 years. I like using Oil Paints for their vibrancy and dexterity of not drying too fast to manipulate the paint more accurately I’ve studied all the major techniques and styles and have always found that sticking with one particular artistic style or technique as being too restrictive. Thus I like to blend various different styles to combine a fusion of art styles within a painting. I especially like to bend the "rules" of the "do's and don'ts" of painting and designing. My paintings usually revolve around the sociological, the psychological, the reality of existence, consciousness, the personalities of people, and our interaction with the world around us.
