My name is Kaelyn Rene based in Pasadena, California, I explore the realms of contemporary and abstract art through a diverse range of mediums including resin, oil, and digital formats. My abstract works, crafted primarily in resin, are distinguished by their elegant, lustrous finish, capturing a sense of refined beauty and sophistication. In contrast, my contemporary pieces, which are either oil paintings or digital compositions, offer a more classic and timeless aesthetic.Through these distinct styles, I strive to create a dialogue between the modern and the traditional, the polished and the raw, all while maintaining a deep appreciation for the nuances of each medium.Driven by a deep-seated urge to engage in meaningful conversations, I often find myself navigating the complex interplay between introspection and communication. My work reflects an ongoing quest to articulate my innermost thoughts, which are frequently tangled in layers of overthinking. I have come to realize that effective communication is central to my personal development, and this realization has led me to explore new artistic techniques that mirror the irregularities of my mind and self-perception.In my current practice, I am focusing on refining a style that embraces and amplifies these imperfections.
