Inspired by the works of the Impressionists while studying at the university, in the teacher’s workshop, I asked to tell the secret of the works of artists of that time. In his opinion, the smear should be applied once, thoughtfully, without blocking with a new layer. To learn this technique I needed to go to a workshop in another city. It was a cold winter, late evenings, a long distance, but that did not stop me. The teacher taught me to see a lot of colors in an ordinary, gray interior, he opened my eyes. The result of my work and training was this work.

I think that the picture looks more complete when placed on the passe partout.
