Judit Takacs

 I was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1971, and have been living and creating art here. 

I am a freelancer artist, and art teacher in my studio and online.  

In 1999, I obtained an intermediate graphic designer diploma in the Krea Graphic Design School, then in 2008, an Art- and Visual Communication Teacher BA diploma in the Faculty of Art of the University of Kaposvár. Between 2009-2011, I completed 2,5 years also at University of Kaposvár, in the course Visual Representation Artist, painting major. In parallel with this, I took part in a postgraduate Art Therapy Program at the University of Pécs.   

 I have a deep love for traveling Being on the road, getting to know new landscapes, meeting people, exploring cities and new stories. 

Painting is the same for me, a journey full with experiences, a lifelong path filled with both obstacles and wonders and beauty. It's not the destination but the journey that matters, not the arrival but the beauty or even torment experienced along the way.    

This voyage can be about wandering through external landscapes, discovering new regions, exploring lights, colors, shapes, moods, and dreaming them into paint and canvas. It's a game, an exciting exploration, a passion.    

But mainly, it's an inner expedition, a confrontation with the depths of the soul, where painful and uplifting revelations may occur. These insights that surface can also take form with the help of a brush. These materialized emotions can then be examined, loved or not, but they demand attention, engagement, making this journey into the inner self a path of self-discovery.    

This journey of self-discovery holds equal importance for me as playing with the tangible reality of materials.
