From an early age, Jose Montero showed talent and interest in the world of art - not only in painting - but also in drawings and design drafts.
The artist was born and raised in Santiago de Chile.
His professional life is dedicated to architecture and design - his personal feelings and moods he expresses in his pictures. The different techniques of abstract painting are therefore perfect for the artist.
Choosing the free techniques that allow him to create with different materials and colors, generates a large scope that always leads to unique images. Playing with colors and techniques and the desire to experiment, characterizes Jose Montero’s work.
His paintings are about a feeling. He paints what life experiences, certain events and environmental impressions leave in him. Jose Montero’s paintings impress through the composition of the colors, which, rich in nuances and combined with magical forms, seem to tell dreams.
