Joan Pérez is a contemporary Spanish artist. He has worked and works over the years as a teacher and at the same time looking for artistic self-realization. Stylistically, he has gone through periods of great chromatic explosion, currently reaching pure monochromatism. His paintings are figurative, drawing being one of his most important qualities. Joan Pérez uses only acrylics and charcoal on canvas, expressing through his work ideas that have to do with the psychology of people. He normally uses images from the cinema or the world of celebrities.
