Jérôme Chauvin, alias JICÉ, est un artiste contemporain français. Ses compositions en "bas-reliefs" sont des peintures-sculptures, et elles se situent entre l'hyperréalisme et le nouveau réalisme. Ses œuvres murales semblent faites de panneaux de métal emboutis, détériorés au fil des ans, mais ses constructions concaves ou convexes sur des structures en bois ne sont qu'illusions et jouent entre le vrai et le faux.

Ses œuvres réinterprétées nous racontent une histoire, une expérience, elles n'ont jamais existé, mais JICÉ leur a donné cette apparence et il s'amuse à tromper l'œil et les sens, jouant sur de patientes constructions.
