Izabela Wolska is an art pseudonym – her real name is Izabela Gwiazdowska.
Born in 1982 in Szczecin. Studied in Wyższa Szkoła Sztuki Użytkowej in Szczecin. She did a degree of artistic graphics under prof. Andrzej Załecki in 2006. Since 2005 she has been a participant of International Art Workshop in Marianowo organised by prof. Andrzej Tomczak.
Very much interested in psychological aspects of the art process and the need of art. In her art she is reflecting about the relations, communication and borders between the inner world of a human being and the world outside. She looks for perfection in what is imperfect and intentionally includes accidents into the creation process. Never involved with the social or commercial art, not really a true member of ambitious art society, works more like a hermit in her studio, painting and arranging artworks to larger compositions.

In 2016 she was rewarded with an art patronage of ZIPSEE.

She also took part in over 20 collective exhibitions and workshops, for example: International Art Workshop in Marianowo and exibitions of Marianowo Collection in Pomerania Castle in Szczecin, “Kontrast” - an exhibition inaugurating a new Gallery Castle in Szczecinek, a collective exhibition in CreoClub in Szczecin, International Art Workshop in Gludsted (Denmark) 2013 with a following exhibition in Kunstcenter Silkeborg Bad, participation in the exhibition “Open body” on FAMA Festival in Świnoujście and many others.
