Ivan HOR, Artiste peintre français d'origine hongroise installé en atelier à Saint-Tropez depuis 1968, se consacre entièrement à ses peintures au couteau, dessins à l'encre de Chine et albums humoristiques à grand succès "tous seins de Hor" , "tennis de Hor" etc…
Vers la fin des années quatre vingt, Ivan HOR réalise ses premières œuvres tridimensionnelles, s'inspirant de la mer et de la vie au soleil. Dès lors, il devient le plus grand armateur avec environ 90000bateaux de toutes tailles, toutes couleurs mais.....en papier !...
Ses collages s'éparpillent aujourd'hui dans le monde entier. Il recense depuis treize ans environ 16000 collectionneurs, qui possèdent à chaque fois une œuvre unique et originale.
L'atelier est ouvert au plus grand publique , et il est fier de recevoir tous les professeurs des écoles en vacances à Saint-Tropez dans son atelier 36 rue des Remparts.
L'hiver, c'est son atelier qui se déplace de pays en pays, et de ville en ville, en 1998 exposition à la Royal street Gallery, en décembre 2002 il était invité pour une exposition à Milan, 2003-2004 c'est Paris et New York.

Towards the end of the eighties Ivan HOR made his first three-dimensional works, inspired by the sea and life in the sun. From then on, he becomes the largest shipowner with about90000 boats of all sizes, all colors but ..... paper! ...
His collages are scattered all over the world today. For thirteen years, he has been collecting arou16000 collectors, who each time possess a unique and original work.
The workshop is open to the biggest public, and it is proud to receive all the teachers of the schools on vacation in Saint-Tropez in its workshop 36 rue des Remparts.
In winter, his studio moves from country to country, and from city to city (in 1998 exhibition at the Royal Street Gallery, in December 2002 he was invited for an exhibition in Milan, and 2003-2004 it will be Paris and New York.

Between1965 AND 1987 Ivan HOR Made many drawings in India ink, Many will be published in postcards and posters. Atelier Ivan HOR remains the owner of most of these pastel-colored miniatures that we discover here.

Rétrospective, 50 années de vie d'artiste à SAINT TROPEZ
Artiste émérite, plasticien et créateur, dont les premières toiles datent de 1963, Ivan HOR expose ses œuvres dans de nombreuses métropoles françaises ainsi qu’à l’international dont : Monaco, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles (où il ouvre un atelier), Budapest, Londres, Milan, Belgique, Allemagne…
De dessins à la plume qui seront ses premières œuvres, Ivan HOR s’adonnera quelques temps à la peinture au couteau, puis crée « l’Art Bateau », l’art en 3 dimensions.
Il reçoit 2 médailles du mérite de la ville de Saint Tropez: la médaille d'argent en octobre 2008, puis la médaille d'or en mai 2018.
Cette dernière lui sera attribuée au cours de la rétrospective de ses 50 années de vie d'artiste à Saint Tropez.
Une rétrospective de ses 50 années de vie d'artiste a été également exposée à la galerie Pinter de Budapest en Hongrie, pays d'origine de l'artiste.
Distinguished artist, visual artist and creator, whose first paintings date from 1963, Ivan HOR exhibits his works in many French cities as well as internationally including: Monaco, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles (where he opens a workshop) , Budapest, London, Milan, Belgium, Germany ...
From the pen drawings that will be his first works, Ivan HOR will spend some time painting with a knife, then creates "Art Boat", art in 3 dimensions.
He receives 2 medals of merit from the city of Saint Tropez: the silver medal in October 2008, then the gold medal in May 2018.
The latter will be awarded during the retrospective of his 50 years of artist life in Saint Tropez.
A retrospective of his 50 years as an artist has also been exhibited at the Pinter Gallery in Budapest, Hungary, the artist's home country
