Leni Smoragdova è una fotografa e artista altamente creativa. È l'ideatrice dei concetti di Transaction Art. Inizialmente, ha coniato lo slogan: "Siamo figli della guerra; la guerra è denaro; il denaro non ha volto; è semplice come Transazione; siamo figli della Transazione; siamo bambini con facce nascoste".
TransactionArt è nata a Londra; ha incontrato una Musa, la Musa dell'Arte della Transazione, e ha iniziato a nascondere i volti delle persone nella sua arte, soprannominata "volti nascosti". All'epoca è stata rilasciata la "Raccolta di figure".
Leni Smoragdova attualmente risiede e lavora in Israele. Si è laureata presso la Smolensk State University in Russia e la Central Saint Martins nel Regno Unito (Londra). Dal 2010 al 2012 ha lavorato come artista per lo spettacolo di Madonna. Ha esposto le sue opere a livello internazionale ed è rappresentata dalla Hay Hills Gallery di Londra e dalla Shchukin Gallery di New York.
