Né à Roubaix (France) le 15 juin 1981, il commence son apprentissage en Arts Graphiques à l'institut Saint-Luc de Tournai (Belgique) dès 12 ans. Il en ressort à 19 ans en 2000 avec un diplôme d'illustration et la plus haute distinction de sa promotion.
Après l’obtention de son diplôme d’arts plastiques, il commence son activité d’artiste (non professionnelle) en proposant ses créations dans de nombreuses expositions du Nord de la France et reçois ses premiers prix. Il affine sa technique de dessin durant 2 ans et se lance dans un style fantaisiste à l'acrylique.
En 2005, il part au Canada pour y tenter sa chance. Touchés par sa démarche, des galeristes lui ont ouvert leurs portes. il rencontre de nombreux artistes qui lui donnent l’envie de faire évoluer son travail. Il découvre la peinture à l'huile et reviens à un style plus réaliste mélangé à l'imaginaire. Malgré un certain succès au Québec il prend la décision de tout quitter pour l’Amour et il rejoint l’Allemagne. Depuis 2011, il développe son style artistique à Cologne.
Jérémy Piquet mélange la technique et la précision pour le côté réaliste de ses sujets principaux ainsi que la spontanéité et la gestuelle dans le côté abstrait de ses formes et ils les entrelacent de courbes. il crée une liaison par ces formes entre les sujets qu’il exprime pour les unir.
Tout est relié selon lui.
Son objectif de création est de trouver l’harmonie et l’équilibre entre le réalisme et une forme d’abstraction tout en essayant de faire passer un message, exprimer un sentiment ou encore jouer avec des éléments symboliques.
Ce mélange reflète sa personnalité tantôt confuse, tantôt méticuleuse.
