Isabelle I

Isabelle I is a French multidisciplinary artist born in 1996. She has developed an artistic approach that explores the human, the expression of the body and the question of representation. It is by using chiaroscuro that she reveals, in serial and sequential images, her existential reflections.

A committed artist, Isabelle I often takes the stage to explore and highlight the ambiguities and complexities of human nature. She uses photography and painting to create images that provoke reflection on the human condition, sexuality, identity and intimacy.

Alongside her reflection on the human, Isabelle I also works on the memory of the place and the passage of time. She explores the evolutions, mutations and transfiguration of landscape and territory through series of photographs and paintings that capture the essence of place.

Isabelle I lives and works in Nantes, France, where she continues to explore new forms of artistic expression.
