The contrast between the cold blue-emerald cactus and the warm peach and coral tones of the background creates a dialogue of opposites. Warm strokes wrap around the prickly cactus, but they don’t suppress its individuality. Sometimes it blends into the background, as if absorbing its warmth, which is felt through the red outline around it. The bright red lines reflect the surrounding warmth but prevent the cactus from dissolving into the background. It retains its form, trying to interact with its surroundings. The background pulses with hot strokes, but the cactus remains still, symbolizing that despite difficulties and chaos, it stays true to itself, adapting to new conditions.

Irina's painting is an exploration of color, light, and form, expressed through lines, transparent layers of paint, and the interplay of shades. Her work captures the delicate connection between the outer world and the inner state of a person. Each painting fills the space with warmth, evoking emotions in the viewer—ranging from gentle nostalgia to the joy of the moment.
Traveling inspires Irina to notice beauty in simple things. Figurative art, architecture, and plants all become part of her artistic language, revealing the depth of the surrounding world. Her painting is a dialogue between reality and its reflection, a way of seeing the ordinary as a painterly story.
Working with oil, the artist explores various techniques, experimenting with a fusion of airy, almost watercolor-like layers and textured brushstrokes. These rhythms and lines convey lightness, movement, and the fragility of a moment.
Beyond painting, Irina keeps a travel sketchbook, capturing the places she visits. Her architectural sketches reflect not just the appearance of cities but their spirit and rhythm, allowing the viewer to feel the atmosphere of the space.
As the artist herself says: "Impress yourself with the moment"—and find beauty in every instant.
