This painting is about spring, about awakening. The combination of softness and richness in color gives a sense of early spring morning. Purple and lilac tones create depth, while the watercolor lightness of the painting emphasizes the ephemerality of the crocuses — their fleeting nature. The flowers seem almost transparent, dissolving into the cold hue of the background, like the morning frost in the air, which will soon dissipate with the sunlight. The yellow centers of the flowers are like the first rays of the sun warming the frozen earth.

Irina's painting is an exploration of color, light, and form, expressed through lines, transparent layers of paint, and the interplay of shades. Her work captures the delicate connection between the outer world and the inner state of a person. Each painting fills the space with warmth, evoking emotions in the viewer—ranging from gentle nostalgia to the joy of the moment.
Traveling inspires Irina to notice beauty in simple things. Figurative art, architecture, and plants all become part of her artistic language, revealing the depth of the surrounding world. Her painting is a dialogue between reality and its reflection, a way of seeing the ordinary as a painterly story.
Working with oil, the artist explores various techniques, experimenting with a fusion of airy, almost watercolor-like layers and textured brushstrokes. These rhythms and lines convey lightness, movement, and the fragility of a moment.
Beyond painting, Irina keeps a travel sketchbook, capturing the places she visits. Her architectural sketches reflect not just the appearance of cities but their spirit and rhythm, allowing the viewer to feel the atmosphere of the space.
As the artist herself says: "Impress yourself with the moment"—and find beauty in every instant.
