Irina Mironets
Irina Mironets is a contemporary Russian artist who graduated from the State Pedagogical University named after Kryanga in Moldova, where she studied in the art and graphics department. After receiving her diploma, she returned to Moscow and has been actively painting ever since. Since 1999, Mironets has explored various techniques, including airbrushing, and created nearly 400 works, including paintings, graphics, watercolors, and ink drawings. Her creative process often involves deep printing techniques, such as etching, and she prints her paper works on canvas, finishing them by hand when there is a specific order.
Mironets does not adhere to a fixed theme in her work, instead following the emotional response she feels in her soul. Her primary inspiration comes from the beauty and diversity of the planet, from the smallest insects to grand landscapes, often transforming the incompatible and blending visible and invisible worlds. The result is what she calls "unreal realism," where the form may be realistic but exists in a different context. Many of her paintings are stories she creates, sometimes sparked by lines of poetry or music. Mironets believes that an artist speaks through images, and she hopes her paintings will convey more about her and the world around her than words could express.
