This is a philosophical painting. I explored the theme of the unity of opposites in a person and the connection of the contraries. Harmony is the opposites that make up the whole. Male and female, fire and water, depth and height. The red colour is furious, active, and acting. The deep blue colour is the immersion in-depth and stillness, wisdom, and knowledge. The coexistence of the opposites that complement each other creates harmony and the only True.
IMPORTANT: To ship the canvas it is removed from the bars and shipped in the tube. When received you just have to take it to your local framers to get it stretched on the bars again. This is how the delivery is safer and cheaper. If you are willing to receive this painting already stretched and ready to hang, please message me before purchasing to discuss the shipping price.
