His works are in private collections in Russia and other countries. In his graphic art, Ilya Kexholmsky uses the power of simple but spectacular materials - graphite and charcoal to convey his artistic vision. He prefers strong, confident lines to convey emotion and depth with minimalistic use of color. Archetypal symbols occupy a prominent place in his works, as Ilya Kexholmsky strives to fill each work with layers of symbolic and intuitive meaning. His artistic process is characterized by a “stream-of-consciousness” approach that allows his inherent symbolism and emotions to flow onto the canvas, inviting viewers to interact with their own instincts and emotions.
