Mathematically calculated pattern to visually makeshift a flower.
7 layered artwork, 7pettles.
Board if made out of compressed sawdust, cowered with two layers of glassy surface black spray paint.
Yellow colored wood screws and multicolored textile threads were used.
Meant to be hung on a wall.
Everything is made by hand from scratch.
My expression, my way of showing my self to the world through art.
Since very young age I was amazed by symegraphy (string arts), and it has always been with me. In bad times, in good ones it was my way of meditation, of self expression.
Would love to share this with the world, someway, somehow.
To be seen, to bee accepted and somewhat recognized, and possibly, to make it not only my passion for 20 years but also a way to make a living.
I found about string art in middle school, the possibility to make intricate shapes and forms in a three dimensional way mesmerized me. It was like magic to me. To be able to make it come out from the board with layers of symmetrically intertwined strings... Breathtaking.
Never thought of myself as worthy to be an artist, but I silently created, on the side, as a hobby which provided me a possibility to make unique gifts for family and friends.
Now I hope my work can make someone believe in magic just a little bit or simply decorate ones home in a non ordinary fashion.
