Waiting for the sun (2019) Sculptuur door Hanneke Pereboom

Hanneke Pereboom is a Dutch artist who has exhibited and sold her collections in both the  Netherlands and abroad win de 1996. Hanneke started as a sculptress, but decided in the absence of colour to expand her artistic horizon.

As a real auto didactic, Hanneke taught  herself to work with different techniques and materials, which has  led to astonishing paintings and different art works made from glass. Hanneke lives and works in her own studio in Oudehorne, the Netherlands where she also provides workshops and classes.

Sculptress

As a sculptress , Hanneke Pereboom,s first art can be found in the realm of realistic essence. However, over  the years Pereboom has been developing more abstract forms in her work, and her art works are characterised by a string emphasis on round shapes, interchanged with abstract levels leading to a functionel carrying of the simplicity of shape.

Auteur van het in 2005 uitgekomen boek Beelden in steen {uitgeverij Forte }. De tweede druk is inmiddels uitverkocht

Geeft les in boetseren beeldhouwen sinds 1982.

Heeft in residence gewerkt in Zimbabwe en Spanje.
