A mother sees her young daughter obsessed with her looks, keeps looking at her image in a little gold mirror.
But she is is poor and has no blings to shine her beauty.
To save the girl from her own misery, the mother decides to smash the mirror.

This work is done on 100% cotton archival paper with black tea and water colours. Adopted neoclassical painting style along with the figure studies found in ancient South Asian cave paintings.

The painting boasts different hues of blue, a touch of red, Aantique gold and Black tea. Minimal colour applications with lots of details on the back ground. Signed by the artist on the front and details at the back.

This lovely artwork requires framing of your choice to match your decor.

"TEA ROOM" series on the other hand stays within stripe patterns on the subject's outfit, starting from simpler-minimal story to sophisticated tales with her personal favourites; colourful tea cups and tea pots, and all other details come with it.
