Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Insel im Lake Huron. Reiseaquarell, gemalt 1998 im Ruderboot an der Kanadischen Küste.
Das Aquarell zeigt eine ruhige Landschaft am Lake Huron in Kanada. In der Mitte des Bildes ist eine kleine Insel mit dichtem grünen Laub zu sehen, das sich auf der Wasseroberfläche spiegelt. Der Himmel ist mit einem großen blauen Wolkengebilde dargestellt. Die Farben sind lebendig und vermitteln eine Atmosphäre der Ruhe und Gelassenheit, die typisch für die Natur ist. Die Signatur “HW '98” in der unteren rechten Ecke weist darauf hin, dass das Kunstwerk im Jahr 1998 entstanden ist. Ein wirklich schönes Reiseaquarell, das die Stille und Weite des Lake Huron einfängt!

Dr. Herbert Wiedergut, auch bekannt als [herb-art], wurde 1949 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Österreich, geboren. Er war viele Jahre sowohl als Arzt als auch als Künstler im In- und Ausland tätig. Seine Liebe zur Ölmalerei begann im Alter von 15 Jahren während des Besuchs des Gymnasiums in Tanzenberg bei Prof. Hetzendorfer. Bereits damals hatte er seine 1. Teilnahme bei einer Gruppenausstellung in seiner Heimatstadt. Daraufhin folgten die ersten Verkäufe und Auftragsarbeiten. Trotz seines Medizinstudiums und seiner Tätigkeit als Arzt hat ihn seine Leidenschaft für die Malerei immer begleitet. Seit 1996 widmet sich [herb-art] verstärkt der Malerei in Ländern wie Deutschland, Kanada, Österreich, Südafrika und der Türkei. Sein künstlerischer Werdegang wurde in zahlreichen internationalen Ausstellungen gezeigt. 2022 hat er seine medizinische Tätigkeit als Arzt beendet und widmet sich nun wieder ganz seinem künstlerischem Werdegang.
