This is the 2nd work in the ‘Unconscious’ series.
It is said that our minds are made up of consciousness and unconsciousness.
My feelings are sometimes expressed as joy, sometimes as sorrow, sometimes as fear, but my consciousness controls it not to go beyond the socially acceptable level.
We always act like we’re at peace, hoping to be seen as stronger or more generous and better than we really are, just as things work out without any worries.
So what is the state of unconsciousness that exists deep in me, although I am not controlled by consciousness?
Maybe it’s sad and painful than me who is seen from the outside.
It could be much darker, maybe it could be more explicit.
It’s not a quiet lake, it’s a stormy sea.
It’s not elegant classical, it’s heavy metal.
It could be a small bathroom booth, not a big park.
It could be fluorescent pink, not elegant brown.
Sometimes, let’s express our feelings honestly. It’s because the energy that I’ve pressed down on is bound to explode in an unwanted way at a time when I don’t want to.

I’m an explorer and a recorder rather than a painter. What I’m doing is writing poetry using a tool called painting, not language, with beautiful images and colors found in various lives and nature.
The reason why I write poetry with painting, not with words, is because I don’t know the language that properly embodies the beauty of the emotions and colors I felt. I paint because it’s too beautiful to express in language.
