Gordon Tarpley

Hello, my name is Gordon Tarpley. For the last decade I’ve worked as a professional artist in a variety of capacities, from commercial to gallery work, along with creating pieces for licensing companies.
Although my work is based in classical, still-life techniques, it has a quality all its own that gives it a truly unique feel. The subjects are timeless as well, making it accessible for people of every age and background. Instruments such as violins, guitars, brass instruments and others are often featured in an assortment of palettes, such as rich, jewel tones and cool blues.
My work has been shown at galleries and art festivals, as well as put on display for private parties. My clients run the gamut from professional private collectors to business owners. Because much of my art is done in series, private buyers are more apt to buy three or more pieces for their home or office.
