En me promenant sur la plage le long du chemin des douaniers à Saint Raphaël où je viens en vacances depuis que j'ai l'âge de 6 ans, j'ai récolté toutes sortes de matériaux avec ma fille, en sachant que ces morceaux de ferrailles seraient très intéressant à mettre en scène car l'échelle est trompeuse, on a du mal à savoir quelle est la véritable taille de l'élément. Dans ma mise en scène j'ai entassé de manière ordonnée mes morceaux métalliques dans un enchevêtrement inextricable pour faire penser à une ruine, une épave, quelque chose d'ancien et compliqué, en faisant la mise au point sur les nuages splendides, le reste étant flou, ce qui est tout à fait original pour une photo de paysage. J'aime ces couleurs chaudes, le jaune, l'orangé, qui contrastent violemment avec le bleu du ciel et de la mer méditerranée. La photo est lumineuse tout comme cette journée qui a stimulé ma créativité.
While walking on the beach along the coastal path in Saint Raphaël where I have been coming on vacation since I was 6 years old, I collected all kinds of materials with my daughter, knowing that these pieces of scrap would be very interesting to stage because the scale is misleading, it is difficult to know what the real size of the element is. In my staging I piled up my metal pieces in an orderly way in an inextricable tangle to make think of a ruin, a wreck, something old and complicated, focusing on the splendid clouds, the rest being blurred, which is quite original for a landscape photo. I like these warm colors, yellow, orange, which contrast violently with the blue of the sky and the Mediterranean Sea. The photo is bright just like this day that stimulated my creativity.
