It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

J'ai démarré la photo dans les années 80 lors de mes études aux Beaux-Arts. A cette époque le numérique n'était pas très répandu et il faut bien dire qu'on s'en moquait un peu. J'étais assez fan du travail de laboratoire argentique et pratiquais beaucoup la photo lors de concerts en faisant mes propres tirages.
Après 2 années comme laborantin photo tireur-filtreur professionnel et quelques formations spécialisées et pour gagner ma vie je suis devenu infographiste et ai peu à peu délaissé la photo au profit de l'infographie et de la musique que je pratiquais aussi par ailleurs.
Je suis finalement revenu à la photo numérique à partir de 2015 armé d'un appareil photo plein format avec lequel je re-pratique la photo comme j'aimais le faire avant. Fort de mon expérience passée de laborantin photo et d'infographiste la transition vers le traitement numérique s'est faite assez naturellement et j'apprécie désormais d'éditer mes images avec Darktable qui correspond mieux à mes recherches. Ce sont ces photos que je présente ici.
