The Congolese capital, Kinshasa, is hosting its first international Biennale of contemporary art under the theme 'Yango' which translates as "Forward", in the local Lingala language.
The Biennale, which kicked off on November 22 is aimed at showcasing and exploring the diversity of Congolese art as well as celebrating the country's culture.
