These were shot with a specially constructed large camera and special film footage, the Polacolor film. In film developing of Polacolor instant films, in the diffusion transfer process used by Polaroid the wonderful aesthetic frames around the pictures were generated. Photo artist Franz Huempfner mounted these frames digitally to his flower photos. Both together form an aesthetic whole. So the magic of Polacolor is recreated in our days.
