Les chemins de la vie
Dimensions: 104 x 64 cm with floating frame included.
Technique: resin, wax, plaster, iron powder, charcoal

Signed by the artist. Unique artwork. From the collection METAMORPHOSIS.

“Metamorphosis”is an innovative, captivating collection imbued with a profound sense of mutability and transformation of life.
Through the bold use of materials such as coal, iron oxide, fire, epoxy resin, candle wax, and plaster, artist François FARCY has created unique pieces that push the boundaries of traditional artistic expression.

Coal, symbolizing raw strength and darkness, is unexpectedly transformed to represent the fragility of life, while delicately drawn circles in the plaster symbolize the winding and unpredictable paths of our existence.

Subtly burned iron oxide offers warm hues of orange and rust, highlighting the ever-changing nature of life. These captivating shades are enhanced by the luminous and shimmering reflections created by epoxy resin, adding remarkable depth and visual dynamics to the pieces, prompting viewers to introspect.

Fire, handled with caution, embodies life’s regenerative capacity. This collection aims to evoke deep reflection on our own ever-changing nature, inviting viewers to be swept away, meditate, and immerse themselves in this artistic journey, embracing the contemplation of impermanence and the transformation of life.
PROCESS IS EVERYTHING.

I'm François FARCY, a French artist who has had a passion for the visual arts since I was a child. Sculpture and painting have always fascinated me, and after years of working as a translator-interpreter, I decided to make art my profession.

My artistic approach is eclectic and experimental. I enjoy working with various forms of art, combining abstract and figurative elements to create stunning 3D works that often blend painting and sculpture. I'm always looking for new techniques to incorporate into my art, always looking to improve my craft.

A recurring theme in my work is love. I explore the complexities and nuances of human relationships and emotions through the use of colors, textures and symbolism. My aim is to imbue my art with a sense of passion, tenderness and vulnerability that invites viewers to connect with it on a personal level and explore their own emotions in new and profound ways.
For me, art is a form of catharsis, a way to express my emotions and create unique and meaningful works that have a soul and history. I believe that my art is not just decorative, but aims to evoke a strong emotional response in whoever experiences it. With countless exhibitions and art galleries showcasing my work, I am an artist who hopes to leave a lasting impression on everyone who encounters my creations.
