Yes, It's digital
There were several articles published on the network titled: “Yes It’s digital, but is it ART?”
The simple answer is: to pose the right question, you’ve to know 90% of the answer.
So.... Yes it’s decorative, but is it ART? Yes it’s on the wall, but is it ART? Yes it cost a fortune, but is it ART? Yes it’s handmade, but is it ART?
Are digital artists just skilled persons working with heavy, huge software programs
without any knowledge of composition, proportions, standard color harmony, perspective,
the whole art education provoking the conservative master pieces we know from the past?
Are there any fundamental or technical analysis? Where are the pro recommendations “Buy, Hold, Sell?” Who knows? The opportunity to sell thousand of copies not hand made to the public and keep the original which to save in the different stages you created it and sell it again without notice as a new artwork? Digital Works or Digital Art? Or just ART? Finally what is ART? Is there anybody who can tell us? What is the definition of ART? The answer now and decades ago was: investment templates. Well the ART is where money goes. Who cares what do you like? If you buy a piece from a digital artist how you should sell it if you need to? And what to tell to your guests if he (she)is unknown? How to navigate in this OCEAN of self expressing digital artists with a price list as a map and valuate the output? Culture? No there’s no culture now days. So, now you’re all alone. You’ve to trust yourself! What do you like? The ART is just an output of a filtered moment through the person’s nature expressing his inner DNA coded need of beauty, in a temporary move of the UNIVERSE called a moment. Do you need this interpretation? Do you feel happy? Do you feel not alone with the other guy creating this no matter of tools, digital, traditional, mixed media, oil on canvas whatever.
The 21 CENTURY along with the oligophrenia and the Herman Hesse yellow add-ons gives us the responsibility to recognize an artwork. Putting money aside, how to recognize an artwork and who needs this? No one. Who can live without ART? Honestly speaking anybody. Who takes the responsibility to judge ART in juries? Fools.
And what about artists? If you make someone happy with your work for just a second
(there’s no such a statistic) than your life makes sense - this is ART.

Voir toutThis visual documentation of the moment is usually colored by the individual unintentional acceptance and artistic reaction to the event. There’s unlimited amount of events formatting the Universal Time chain called Eternity. Trying to analyze, find or create a new place for the small pieces, parts of the endless puzzle is one of the DVA intentions. Our culture force us to frame the art in styles: Modern Art, Impressionism, Naivism, Pop Art, Hip Hop, Classic, Sur, Minimalism and so on...
All these have information purposes only now days as tags. DVA use them all, but it’s not a decorative art. If you let the Universe pass through your transparency and project the output of the prism as an artwork than join this field..

They use to say: "About me"
Everyone has a hidden, educated through the years, sense of harmony
and sometimes is wondering why is fond of, or dislikes something
without any logical reason. This strong resistance against the ethical
open heart mind attacks, is build in childhood...,some writers
deeply impressed me those years - just a short list: “F.M” my code
name for Dostoevski, William Somerset Maugham, (Hey gays, I’m
an old man), W. Blake, Joyce Cary, J. D. Salinger, Robert M. Pirsig,
P. Modiano, just to name a few. Poetry? I’ve no time for such a long list.
However : A. Ginsberg, T. S. Eliot, J. Prevert and much more..
Philosophers? Just to give you an idea:
A. Shopenhauer, S. Kierkegaard, Albert Camus,
Apollonius of Tyana, Lotreamon (sometimes) and of course Lao De Dzin
Monten and a lot more..
Fine artists? I really appreciate your time, you know everything,
but two names M. Vrubel and Mikalojus Chiurlionis.
After all, life without humor, does not worth living.
People often use to say ‘Oh digital art? Just give me a power computer,
the appropriate program and I can do this.” Everyone can be an artist
now days and communicate with others and with his own audience. If you made
three strokes on canvas or gradients over a background with your favorite program
there will be people to say you’re genius. It depends on the culture they have,
watching your art. If it’s wide and profound with an education accent, the more
interpretations and associations you’ll get and more freedom you will explore
because nothing depends on the artist. The final product is just a registered
moment of an emotional conditions filtered through the author’s prism accepting
reality. Generally speaking the artist never tells the public something new. They
are several reasons for that. The registered fact, of a complex fixed
moment of the author’s own human universe - what an art work is, will never,
be understood by a public with slightly different experience and culture on their
own way in this very moment through their life. So if you like a piece of art, you already
have all the complex borders of your prism large enough to let pass the artist
message to your mind. Nothing new for you but the supreme SUBCONSCIOUS delight of
knowing you’re not alone. People with wide horizons and massive database of the
human civilization ethical analysis of behavior - called culture, can find in a black
point on whatever surface a fine art - again, nothing depends on the artist.
So sharing points of view is the most important thing in human history.
We leave in times where everything must be simple enough and probably free.
Everyone can do everything - give him the right tools. Everyone can communicate
with others - just be simple, understandable with a popular taste. Bulk of
talents everywhere. Pictures of Family pets, blogs, photos, forums, MP3, torrents
social networks - express yourself! You even don’t need to pay for your own domain.
Get what you can for free. Find friends, communities, 4th level live and so on.
Be anonymous with the avatar focusing your dreams....
Gopher servers? BBS? Mosaic? Netscape Gold? Pegasus,Eudora? Dail-up and
and the first VOIP-Internet Phone I lived with. Who remember this now,
but who can find you now in the broadband ocean? Tags? You need tags, not
to be alone? Your whole life in tags? Bee Gees Words? In the world wide ocean
of enormous info about everything and everyone, where is our hard ground island,
to build a home with friends? IT waves are reaching the corporate continents, where
the crowd is leaving loudly but lonely. To organize the loneliness and the human touch
is the next huge business. Good luck Google?

Template Lives
Everybody knows and can see the templates we use
in our everyday life. It’s extremely hard to find something
unique, original and creative around. Even pro-web designers
use sometimes free templates. They’re now in the network space
everywhere. These acceptable patterns of behavior in the social
reality are moving of course in the social networks.
We have centuries of history developing human templates-patterns
of behavior protecting us from our natural need of freedom questioning
the moral of the choice we have made. All the time people were talking
about the human free will = the right to choose. And now you can choose
from several templates through our lives. Childhood template, education template
love, marriage, family, shopping, intellectual and art templates and so on...
I would not be surprised in the
future if I receive a message like this:
“It seems that you do not have Java Script enabled in your
life. To kiss this woman please enable it. You can download...”
Or: “Sorry, but to become a father you have to register first.
It’s easy and free!” And: “Your thirty days free trail with this wife
has expired. To activate all of her family plug ins please become
a member. Full membership includes: every day sex, cooking,
permanent IP and a lot more! Click here to find out....
Successful stories..”
There’s a myth that the artist is out of the templates because
of his creativity. He don’t need any templates - he create them
waiting for the human race to accept them as esthetic and ethical
standards safe for the masses. The free choice of creating something
is never in dissonance with our nature. There’s a
religion template telling us that God created the humans the same way.
To share the mental and emotional consequent results of the reaction to the fact,
of our inner interaction with the reality focused in
the very moment in our lives, and express the feeling with the appropriate tools
fixing it, in the universal time ruining, is an artwork. If this fact is not shared or dismissed,
in the template frame already established, the artist is in the waiting list for approval.
Alienation is just another word of waiting. Life without templates means freedom.
But. As individuals we have our own templates framed by our DNA and this is our identity.
The only choice we have is to overlay or correct our templates to the social ones.
This is the choice and free will. Unfortunately I can’t accept this as freedom. Freedom
is the opposite of choice. If we’re free we don’t need to choose. If we don’t need to choose
we have no identity.
To be really free we don’t need identity. That’s why God-(use every word you wish) does not have any identity, because he is not pressed to make a choice.
However, living in templates is not so bad. We have them for friends, family, social life,
kids, chat with ourselves and sometimes creating something like an artwork.
What we allow, out of the templates in our mind, are the dreams where everything
happens without a choice.
