About the paintings

It's what I paint that teaches me who I am inside. My universe, a simple state of my soul. I create little meetings with myself. Considering the space, the frame, the format as a space of freedom. An introspection, an inner journey where everything is freely expressed, with sincerity. A meditation, a rest of the gaze fixed on a microscopic environment, of the very small so as not to miss the almost nothing. For me, it's about traveling in the micro-world of things, being in relation with the world and its representation. Becoming one with the invisible, to the naked eye. Integrating this subtle part, in this quest for the quintessence of life.

Beauty, the jewel, the wonders of the infinitely small reside in all cells, particles in this elsewhere yet so close to us. Painting for me is going to meet a new version of myself, in my body. Transcending all my thoughts by entering the heart of my own cells by giving them life, color, a way of being present, by offering myself this present, this gift for myself. It is an internal language, a simple return to oneself, inscribed in this vertical dimension which contains all these experiences and feelings which take place in my inner being.

About the Champicailloux

It is my encounter with stone, wood, water on a song, on a rolling tune - tralala under my feet.
In this river bed, Memory, the Genesis of the Earth and Humanity.
These Champicailloux play an essential role in my well-being through their presence, their own energy, they bring me joy, gentleness, appeasement, make me smile again!
Their gaze full of beauty, depth, they watch me live in the silence of their heart without judgment.
They say nothing, marvel at all with their childlike soul.
Observe...appreciate attentively, listen to the song of the birds, the blue smile of the sky in the brightness of the sun.

Visual Artist Graduated with a 5-year master's degree from the School of Fine Arts.
